A creative volunteering programme for young people aged 10-18 years old, living in Newhall and Swadlincote.
Make Volunteering Fun is a year long programme to provide the opportunity for a group of around 20 young people to talk part in meaningful, fun, regular volunteering that makes a real difference in their own community and provides skills training for working in the creative industries.
Over a year young people will work alongside professional artists to provide opportunities for other people in the community to take part in creative activities, including a series of events, that the young creatives will produce especially for local older people to take part in.

So far volunteers have planned and ran a community event in Newhall, with Graffiti Drop-in activities.
There next event will be a lantern making drop-in for Swadlincote Light Switch on, on Friday 24th November 2017 3.30pm-6.30pm, in the courtyard of Sharpe’s Pottery Museum, West Street, Swadlincote. DE11 9DG.
