Families and young people from Newhall and Midway joined People Express for a week in August to take part in Caribbean Carnival Club.

An exciting week of fun activities included carnival costume making, steel pan drumming and dance workshops throughout the week, leading to a mini carnival on Newhall Park, where families and young people performed their rehearsed dances in vibrant handmade costumes. They were then invited to enjoy a steel pan performance by professional musicians form the Forever Steel Band.
