A brand new project funded by The National Lottery Community Fund. An opportunity for people to take part in creative arts and get back together with friends following the pandemic.
'The Welcome Back Cafe' offers fun, free, fortnightly creative supported sessions open to neurodiverse, disabled and older adults.
Group members will be working on a project to create their own personalised weighted blankets, used to relieve anxiety and help to feel calm. Working towards an interactive exhibition entitled 'Snug' later in the year.
No experience of taking part in the arts or sewing experience is needed to take part in the project.
